It is a difficult thing to live as a Catholic in our age.

In school, our children are taught that the Ages of Faith were actually the Dark Ages, and yet that was the time when all of nature was invigorated with the supernatural, and when the presence of God and His saints was still keenly felt. Now, we have all the distractions of a virtual reality that is no reality at all, living in societies that attempt to ignore God, meaning that we are truly surrounded by a spiritual Dark Age.

Knights and saints were the timeless superheroes of all the ages. Unlike our modern age, where we have mutant comic book characters held up as heroes, knights and saints worked miracles and achieved great deeds in reality with the help of God and His Church.

God doesn't change. we need to hold up for our children the virtues of the saints and knights, to do good because they are good, for the love of God.
